CORONARY CARE UNIT B (CCU.B)

CCU.B unit of Javad Al-Aemeh Heart Charity Hospital has 8 beds.

To CCU.B unit, patients from emergency unit, cath lab, internal units and, where applicable, from ICU and surgery units are admitted. Depending on the type of disease, all intensive heart cares are provided in this unit. The beds used in CCU are of semi-automatic type and, in special cases, raging mattresses are used for the patients as well.

The facilities of each bed include a monitor, central oxygen, central suction, and nurse call system. With the aid of central monitoring of the nursing station, all patients are monitored and been under medical care if ordered by the attending physician.

HIS system makes possible the access to the laboratory, pharmacy, paraclinical units, warehouse and the other units. The patients are examined by the attending physician on a daily basis. CCU.B unit's personnel includes a matron, 13 registered nurses (male and female), 6 nursing assistants (male and female), a secretary and servant. This unit is located on the second floor of the hospital.
